So this picture was really taken last winter. If you lived here you would know this because the porches are in dire need of a pressure wash and a fresh coat of paint. I am pretty sure we painted the house white and grey but with all of the rain lately there isn’t much white, or grey for that matter – it’s all green. Sorry, I digress…Anyway, another reason you’d know this picture is old is because we grew our own hay this year. Duck Hill Farm is a sustainable green farm you know. Ok, so we’re not that green but did you know that you get fescue hay when you don’t mow the lawn for two months around here? Yeah, we planned that! BTW those skanky planters are still here. They have character.
