Austria
Almost two years ago we took a Christmas Cruise on the Danube River. We spent a few days in Vienna and then headed for Nürnberg. We stopped along the way in Linz and few other small towns in Wachau Valley. It was a great trip and the gluten-free food on the boat was awesome. Oh, how I do love cream soups!
Here are a few pics from the Austria side.

Here’s the little town of Melk, Austria:

Todd found a clock in the Benedictine Abbey in Melk. I wasn’t paying much attention (I have a nasty habit of doing this when I’m in a church) but he kept mumblng something about this clock..blah, blah…clock…holy grail…blah, blah…clock.

And the surprisingly posh town of Linz, Austria:

Guess this famous resident of Linz?

Hint: It’s not Tycho Brahe.
